The Suburbs

Art is all about storytelling, and this Transient Labs feature allows collectors to participate in the story. Story inscriptions allow collectors to leave a permanent mark on a token they own by adding metadata. Better yet, if you wrote a winning story, it will always be pinned to the top of the Story's timeline.

I grew up in the suburbs, and then moved to New York City as an adult. This change in environment made me reflect on my childhood; I felt nostalgia for those manicured green lawns, but at the same time, I also realized just how weird suburbs are. Suburbs are all over the world, and they feel the same everywhere. They are places of strange beauty, somehow bringing both comfort and unease. Through this series, we embark on a journey to the suburbs to discover the stories and memories lurking within.
