"Diaries of Compulsive Obsessions" blends the realms of visual art and blockchain to create a collection of 50 digital diaries. Built on the Ethereum Blockchain and powered by Transient Labs' innovative ERC-7160 protocol, this project offers a deeply interactive art experience like no other.

At its heart, each diary is formed of chapters. The first, “hello world,” is embedded directly into the token's metadata. This is just the starting point. From there, diary owners step into the co-creator role, invited to enrich the diaries with their own words, thoughts, and poetry in response to the videos, thanks to the Story Inscriptions feature. It's a process that sees these diaries evolve, shaped by a community of voices, growing and changing with each new contribution.

The narrative doesn't expand; it deepens as additional chapters are released throughout the year. Owners can unlock even more context with lost pages. These are claimed by engaging with the project in various ways, like attending real-life exhibitions or solving puzzles online. It's a multi-layered journey that mirrors the intricate dance of life itself.

Instruction for changing the array

1. ACCESS THE CONTRACT

You may access the CONTRACT HERE

You can also access the contract from Opensea
• First, go to the “Diary of Compulsive Obsession” edition you wish to change in your wallet
• .To access the contract from OpenSea, expand the ‘Details’ tab…
• Note the TokenID number, and then click ‘Contact Address’ directly above; this will open Etherscan.‍

2. CHANGING THE CONTRACT ON ETHERSCAN

1. Click ‘Contract’
2. Click ‘Write Contract as Proxy’
3. Click ‘Connect to Web3’ and connect with the wallet that holds your Diary of Obsessive Compulsive edition(s)
4. Click on function 13. ‘pinTokenURI’
5. Enter your Token ID to change (we got this in the previous step)
6. Type in ‘Token URI Index’ of the relevant artwork you would like to choose.(eg. Index 4 for Diary of Compulsive Obsessions: “It Starts with a Loop”)
7. Click ‘Write’ and confirm the transaction (this requires a small gas fee)

3. REFRESH THE METADATA ON OPENSEA

a. Once the previous transaction is complete, return to the Diary of Compulsive Obsession token in your wallet on OpenSea and refresh the metadata.
b. Please allow 5 minutes and now refresh the OpenSea page itself…
c. You will now see the artwork you have chosen!
d. Change the artwork as many times and as often as you like.

How do I write Story Inscriptions via LaunchPad?

Launchpad is your discovery tool and an unparalleled gateway to the Transient Labs ecosystem. It provides rich tool sets that allow you to engage with groundbreaking Transient Labs Smart Contract features, starting with Story Inscriptions.

1. Go to https://launchpad.transientlabs.xyz/ and connect your wallet in the upper right corner.
2. Navigate to the search bar at the top of the page and search for the token to which you would like to add a Story Inscription. You can search by keyword, such as the piece's title or contract address.
3. Click the desired result from the Search bar to navigate to the token's page.
4. Click the purple "Inscribe" button.
5. Write your Story Inscription! If you look at the top right corner of the pop-up, you'll notice a gas estimate tracking the estimated gas cost to add that Story Inscription to the token on-chain (it updates in real-time).
5a. Remember to use Markdown for paragraph breaks, bolds, italics, and more! You'll be able to learn about Markdown here.
6. Review, proofread, and triple-check that everything is spelled correctly and that you used the proper markdown syntax where necessary. Once you click Inscribe, it is immutable (you can't edit it) and forever tied to that token.
7. Lastly, click "Inscribe" and send the Transaction!
